A little bit about me…

Equal parts creative, home cook, curious traveler, plant collector, and devoted cat parent to two very demanding bosses.

Hi! I’m Gavin.

Allow me to say hi! I’m Gavin, a marketing professional and creative who enjoys bringing ideas to life through strategy, design, and digital media. I’m interested in the full picture of marketing, from developing a brand and planning campaigns to creating the graphics, content, and messaging that bring those ideas to life. I love finding the balance between creative work and strategy to create something that not only looks good, but actually connects with people.

My creativity doesn’t stop when I step away from my computer. I’ve always loved working with my hands, especially through cooking and baking, and I’m constantly finding new things to learn and explore. I love traveling, experiencing new places and cultures, and I’ve somehow become a proud collector of far too many plants. At home, I’m also a dedicated cat parent to two very spoiled cats who are more than happy to supervise whatever I’m working on.

I’m naturally curious and always looking to learn something new. Whether I’m developing ideas, designing a new piece of content, trying a new recipe, exploring somewhere new, or figuring out how to keep my latest plant alive, I’m always looking for the next thing to discover.

Plants.

I’ve developed a bit of a plant obsession. I love watching things grow and learning how to take better care of them, although I’m still figuring out which plants actually like me back.

Looking up through dense green leaves of trees with sunlight filtering through and a clear blue sky visible in parts.
Cityscape with numerous buildings, the Transamerica Pyramid and coit Tower in San Francisco, California, under a clear sky.
A street scene during sunset with 4 to 5 story European-style buildings on both sides, featuring balconies, some with plants, and streetlights. There are many people walking in the street, and the sun is setting in the background, casting a warm glow over the scene.

Always Exploring.

I love to travel and experience new places, cultures, food, and everything in between. There’s something about stepping outside of what I know that always gives me a fresh perspective.

In the Kitchen.

Cooking and baking have always been a creative outlet for me. I love trying new recipes, learning about different cuisines, and finding ways to make something my own.

My bosses.

I’m a proud parent to two cats who are equal parts helpful and distracting. They’ve become unofficial members of the creative process, usually showing up whenever I’m trying to get something done.
